The Eurodollar Trap: Why the Dollar Will Spike Before It Dies.

There is a paradox at the heart of the coming crisis. The same event that will temporarily send the US dollar soaring will, within months, destroy its role as the world’s reserve currency. Understanding this sequencing is the difference between being positioned for the crisis and being destroyed by it.

This article unpacks a framework developed through extensive analysis of the Eurodollar system, the Japanese yen carry trade, the escalating conflict in the Middle East, and the structural debt trap facing the United States. The conclusion is stark: the dollar system is a highly leveraged bubble of promissory notes, and its unwind will follow a specific sequence that most investors are unprepared for.

  1. Very Helpful and thank you. How could these Sovereign Wealth Funds, NOT know that that system is big huge derivative, fractional reserve bubble built on more and more air everyday ? I know that, and I have barely a pot to piss in compared to them. Seems very strange, and makes no sense that they would just now be waking up to this! Could they just be playing it for as long as they can ? I don’t know, makes no sense to me.

  2. Great article. Right now the west to east trade arbitrage for silver has been holding at about 12%. That means China is willing to pay about 12+% more than the COMEX paper price to obtain physical silver. As this collapse unwinds I am expecting this trade arbitrage to get up to more like 50%. Greedy investor (Speculators) in the US won’t pass up an immediate 50% profit and this will drain the COMEX vaults even faster. The COMEX paper pricing will be made “irrelevant” and China will soon set the price for all commodities globally through their physical markets.
