Bill’s Commentary:

“And he knows this how… without an audit since the 1950’s? I can show you on the back of a napkin how China has accumulated 35-40,000 tons of gold.”

Fort Knox Standoff: Bessent Says All The Gold Is There, Says America ‘Used To Be Backed’ By It

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has once again assured the public that America’s gold reserves remain fully intact, pushing back against years of speculation surrounding the legendary vaults at Fort Knox. In a Fox News interview with Jesse Watters that aired Monday night, Bessent reiterated his standing assurance that every ounce of the nation’s bullion is “present and accounted for” – while making no plans to visit the Kentucky depository himself.

“I am happy to say all gold is present and accounted for. The U.S. has the largest pile of gold in the world, over a trillion dollars, at current market value,” Bessent told Watters.

His comments come amid renewed calls from lawmakers and gold advocates for a comprehensive, independent audit – the first large-scale public verification since 1974.

  1. The GOLD is NOT there! George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Robert Rubin removed it back in the early 90’s and never put it back.

Remember when Larry Silverstein, during 9/11 said “Pull it”, pertaining to the taking down of Building 7? The CIA was in Building 7. It was rumored that the gold that was stolen out of Fort Knox by Bush, who had also been a Director of the CIA, had stored it in the basement of Building 7. The reason for the delay in that building being detonated, on time, was because they were still moving the gold out of the basement, when that building should have come down. When Silverstein was finally told the Gold was out of the building…that’s when he gave the order to blow it up.

  2. The United States no longer belongs to the American people. This past July 4th should not have been a celebration of 250 years of American Freedom. It should have been a funeral march…a final farewell to our once great nation.

  3. I thought the same thing when I heard this.  When was the audit done and where can we see the results for ourselves?  I’m just not ready to take the political, unsubstantiated statement that all our gold is there.  Sorry, the trust bridge was burnt down a long time ago in our house.
