Dear Bill
I am a long time fan. I left Colorado for a rural place in Arkansas for the same reason you are in Texas.
The critics of gold and silver as money always talk of its limitations. It can’t be expanded, it is heavy …. There is some truth to what they say. However, the other side of those limitations is the destruction created by governments when they have excess funds. War in particular, is so much easier when one can just print more money. But the list goes on and on.
To me, golds limitations are its most beautiful characteristic. It is the bridle on government that the populace has never been able to accomplish otherwise. Our forefathers understood this and put it in the constitution for this exact reason.
Please feel free to use any of this that you desire.
